Dierkes Lake Park

This one time apple orchard is now a favorite swimming hole. The City of Twin Falls purchased this property in 1969. During the summer months you can enjoy picnicking, swimming, fishing, and hiking. The lake offers a relief from the summer heat, the grassy park is a great area to host family barbecues and company picnics. Two shelters are available to reserve by filling out our parks facility use application and turning it into the Parks and Recreation Office. The 1.7 mile trail loops around the park offering stunning views of the lake, the canyon and the Snake River, as well as an opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of the canyon. Dogs must be leashed and owners must clean up after their dogs.

Auger Falls Heritage Park

A true hidden gem and local hideout. The City of Twin Falls purchased this 680 acre property in 2002. The land has remained mostly undeveloped, which leaves 680 acres of unique natural landscape to explore and enjoy.
