Citizens Police Academy

Ever wonder what it's like to be a police officer? The Twin Falls Police Department will answer that question and many others while you attend the Citizen's Police Academy (CPA).  The goal of the program is not to train citizens to be police officers, but to increase the understanding between our community and their police department. Participants gain an understanding of how the department accomplishes its mission on a daily basis.

The program is open to participants ages 18 and up and it is designed to promote and enhance citizen understanding and awareness of the role of the Twin Falls Police Department within our community.

The classes are limited to 20 people and an investigation of an applicant’s criminal history will be conducted prior to acceptance in the CPA.

WED SEPT 29 2021  18:00-21:00 hrs - Firearms Simulator / K-9 & SIU   

WED OCT  06 2021  19:00-20:30 hrs - CPA 2021 Graduation
