Contractors with the City of Twin Falls will be doing maintenance on the Shoshone Falls Park main overlook beginning Tuesday, Sept. 19. For approximately 3 weeks, contractors will work to replace the wooden decking under the overlook and reinforce the concrete footings with a steel beam and concrete.
During construction, the parking lot near the overlook will be closed. Parking will be available on the east end of the drive, visitors will have a short walk to the viewing areas. Viewing areas along the rim will still be accessible and concessions and restrooms will remain open. RV parking and boat ramp access will not be impacted.
