The City of Twin Falls will close Main Avenue between Blue Lakes Boulevard and Nevada Street on Friday, May 12 to replace a deteriorating waterline before it effects water service to businesses in the area.
A temporary road patch will be placed over the line replacement and the road will remain closed to thru traffic until Monday when the City Street Department will place a permanent road patch. The road is expected to be fully reopened Tuesday, May 16.
Vehicle traffic should go around the project area by using Second Avenue or Minidoka Avenue for detour. To ensure the safety of our crews, when driving in or near construction zones, please slow down, follow all posted construction signs, and do not use cell phones while driving.
