Arbor Day Celebration

The City of Twin Falls Parks & Recreation Department invites the community to attend the City of Twin Falls' 2023 Arbor Day Celebration. This year the ceremony will be held Thursday, May 4 at 10 a.m. in Kenny Poe Park, located at Wendell Street and North College Road West. The City will be presented its 2022 Tree City USA Award from the National Arbor Day Foundation.

This will be the twenty fifth consecutive year that the City of Twin Falls has received the Tree City USA award. Twin Falls Mayor, Ruth Pierce will read the proclamation declaring May 4, 2023 as Arbor Day in the City of Twin Falls at City Council meeting on Monday, May 1.

As part of the Arbor Day Celebration, The Twin Falls Parks & Recreation department, along with Commission members, City Council members, local schools, as well as businesses and community members will plant trees at Kenny Poe Park.
