Idaho Power is replacing existing underground electric cable in the area of Falls Avenue West between Monroe Street and Madrona Street as well as adjacent cross streets to improve reliability in areas that are experiencing issues. Work will begin Monday, April 10.
During that time Idaho Power contractors will contact affected homeowners through mailers and door flyers, and a construction manager will be on-site or available by cell phone to speak with affected residents.
Working hours will be between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. and the project involves work that may be disruptive at times, such as digging trenches. If Idaho Power needs to turn off power to complete work, an Idaho Power representative will contact the homeowner at the phone number they have on file.
