As part of construction of the Cedar Park Development, Carriage Lane will be closed from Addison Avenue East to Whispering Pine Drive to allow for the installation of a new sewer main line and water main line tie-ins.
Construction work will be done in 2 phases. The first phase will begin Monday, Feb. 13 and is expected to be completed by Friday, Feb. 24, during which time Carriage Lane will be closed and residents in adjacent apartments will be provided access from Whispering Pine Drive. All non-local traffic will be detoured around the project area. After Phase I construction is completed, the road will be reopened with temporary packed gravel areas.
Phase II will be a single day closure for asphalt patching in the spring when materials are available and weather permits. Phase II will permanently pave temporary gravel areas.
