The City of Twin Falls is seeking three (3) candidates to fill current vacancies on the Development Impact Fee & Improvement Reimbursement Advisory Committee. The committee monitors and evaluates implementation of the capital improvement plan and generates reports to the City Council annually on the Impact Fee program.
The committee is also advisory to the City Council as it reviews reimbursement of costs to developers who have installed public works improvements. It also determines boundaries of properties that will be required to reimburse the initial developer that installed the improvements, and to review cost information provided to determine proper compensation to the developer from subsequent developers or property owners that connect to those systems.
Candidates should have interest or experience in the field of economics, finance, business, development, construction or real estate. The volunteer commission meets generally twice a year once in April and once in November at 12 p.m. Committee members must reside in the City limits. The Mayor appoints and the Council confirms members of the Development Impact Fee & Improvement Reimbursement Advisory Committee.
