On Monday, Aug. 2, Contractor Electric One Inc., which has contracted with the City of Twin Falls, will install mast arms for the new traffic signal. Work will begin about 7 a.m. and should be complete by 6 p.m. During the work there will be lane closures and traffic flaggers on both Falls Avenue and Madrona Street.
And on Wednesday, Aug. 4, traffic controls will be set-up to so that crews can remove and repaint road markings for the new signal. The traffic signal is expected to be powered on the second week of August, and will be fully operational before the beginning of the school year.
Traffic should use alternate routes around the project area during the signal and road marking installation.
