Twin Falls is the community hub for northern Nevada and the eight-county south-central Idaho region known as the Magic Valley. Unlike many cities of similar size (42,000), Twin Falls offers amenities normally found in more metropolitan areas.

Perched atop the magnificent Snake River Canyon, Twin Falls provides a variety of outdoor recreational opportunities. The area experiences an average of 200 clear days per year, so everyone can enjoy such outdoor activities as golf, boating, Nordic and alpine skiing, camping, hiking, white water rafting, water skiing, fishing and hunting.

If you're visiting Twin Falls for the first time, Shoshone Falls -- also known as the Niagara of the West -- is a must-see. It is 212 feet high and about 900 feet wide. For driving directions, click here. The cost for parking at the Shoshone Falls Park is $3 per car from May through September.
