Eastland\Pole Line Construction Project to Reduce Traffic to Two Lanes

Contractors with the City of Twin Falls have started construction on the Eastland/Pole Line Expansion Project that will rebuild and widen Eastland Drive from Falls Avenue to Julie Lane. Drivers should expect intermittent delays and are encouraged to detour around the project area.

Traffic will be reduced to two lanes between Julie Lane and Falls Avenue through February while the contractor works within the shoulder areas. The contractor, Kloepfer, Inc., will then be installing utilities until early April at the intersections of Eastland Drive and Bowlin Drive; Eastland Drive and Cheney Drive; and Pole Line Road East and Mountain View Drive.

Flaggers will be guiding traffic during normal working hours and will stop traffic on occasion to allow construction equipment to safely enter and leave the construction work zone. Drivers are reminded to slow down, watch for flaggers and traffic signs, and give extra space between vehicles to avoid rock chips.

Questions or concerns regarding the project should be directed to Josh Baird, Twin Falls City Staff Engineer, at 208-735-7323 or jbaird@tfid.org
